Rob Potter has extensive playing and coaching experience. He played for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and the University of Minnesota. He has been the head coach of a variety of female high school teams in Minnesota and currently owns and manages a hockey training program/facility attracting elite athletes from around the world. In each of the past eight years, he has trained and coached 25 to 30 women who participated in the Top 60 Camp for the best female hockey players in the nation. He has also coached hundreds of female hockey players who have advanced to Division I, Division III and US Olympic hockey teams. He brings extensive experience developing student-athletes, preparing them to handle the unique emotional, mental and physical stress of high-performance sports as students. He has worked with a variety of NHL, Junior A, USHL and high schools teams in skill development and training. He is currently the Head Coach of the Gilmour Prep team at Gilmour Academy. Born in Cleveland, Lisa began her hockey career in the CSHL before moving onto Girls AAA hockey where she played for various organizations including the Ohio Flames, Pittsburgh, and Team Illinois. During these years she was selected to participate in the Mid-American District Camps and the USA Hockey Select 15 Camp in Rochester, NY. After high school, she chose a different route than most and enlisted into the Army National Guard, where she still serves as a reservist. Recently, she has worked alongside numerous Barons coaches while working at the Ohio Hockey Academy owned by Mike Wilson (03 Barons Elite). She currently coaches with the Kent Youth Hockey Association as the goaltending coach and continues to play womens hockey for Team CLE, where she along with fellow Barons coach Jackie Madison won the 2016 USA Hockey National Championship.

Born and raised in Mentor, Ohio, Jackie has been an Assistant Coach with the Cleveland Barons AAA U14 Girls both Tier 1 and Tier 2 for the past 3 years. She is also an avid softball player and coaches youth softball. Jackie played with the Mentor Cardinals in the CSHL and the Ohio Flames Girls AAA Tier 1 before moving on to play NCAA DIII at SUNY Buffalo State University. More recently, Jackie has been playing with the only adult women’s hockey team in the Cleveland area, Team CLE. Jackie won a USA Hockey National Championship with the team.
Seanna was born in Washington, D.C. but moved to Cleveland at a very young age, where she began playing ice hockey in the CSHL. Seanna played for Gilmour Academy Boys’ Varsity in High School and played NCAA Division I ice hockey at the University of New Hampshire. She also played in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) for the Avalanche du Quebec (Montreal, Canada) and finished her collegiate career at York University in Toronto, Canada. She was also selected for the USA Hockey U19 Select Festival at Lake Placid, NY in 2002 finishing with the Highest Save Percentage at the Festival. More recently, Seanna played in Ireland and has represented Team Ireland at their only two appearances in IIHF World Championships (Sofia, Bulgaria in 2011 and Izmir, Turkey in 2012) winning an MVP award and Goalie of the Tournament Award. Seanna has been a Goaltending Instructor for over 15 years and has worked at camps in the Greater Toronto Area and Cleveland as well as with individual teams. Seanna has also been selected as a Goaltending Instructor at High Performance camps by both the IIHF and USA Hockey. More recently, Seanna was the Goaltending Coach for the ’04 Barons AAA and the Head Coach of the Ohio Flames AAA U14 Girls during the 2014/2015 season. The 2016/2017 season will be Seanna’s third season as Head Coach of the Cleveland Barons AAA U14 Girls.
Dean was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland before moving to Cleveland in 2013. Dean played both ice and inline hockey in Ireland and has represented Team Ireland at several IIHF World Championships at both Division III and Division II levels. He has won both Gold and Silver medals with Team Ireland and has served as an Assistant Captain with the team. Dean was also heavily involved in the day to day administration with the Irish Ice Hockey Association. He has also been an on-ice official for the past 10 years. More recently, he was an Assistant Coach with both the ’04 Barons AAA and OhioFlames AAA during the 2014/2015 season. The 2016/2017 season will be Dean’s second season as Assistant Coach with both the Cleveland Barons AAA U14 Girls and Lake Catholic High School.
Dave has a long history of coaching in the Cleveland area. He played his career from 1986 – 1988 in the All American Hockey League and Minor Professional League. He started his coaching at the Winterhurst program and was the 2002 Cleveland Lumberjacks head coach for multiple years. He has coached with the Lady Barons program going on 4 years at the U10 and U12 levels. He currently is the assistant coach with the Lady Barons Tier 1 Tournament Team and a coach with the CSHL Winterhurst Lady Warriors who were the first CSHL all-girls team who have won the championship banner at the A2 level for this past 2016-2017 season.
As the Sport Director for NewsChannel5 Sports Team, Andy has a passion and rich knowledge of Cleveland sports, especially hockey. When he’s not talking about sports on NewsChannel5 or 92.3 The Fan, he enjoys playing both roller and ice hockey, as well as coaching. This past year Andy served as an assistant coach at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio.
